Completed installation of the
US Navy's Portable Tracking System in water varying from 550 to 10
meters depth. Shallow hydrophones were precisely placed more closely
together than deep hydrophones for acoustic reasons. Slack distributions
varied significantly since all 51 hydrophones were evenly spaced on the
fiber optic cable. |
